DABS Start-Up Grant

Get up to £5,000 to help with set up costs of your new business.

This is designed to cover the costs that other grants cannot cover.

Eligibility

• Up to £5,000 grant available per SME.
• Grant is for new goods of between £2,500 and £12,500 – (you can apply for more, but the maximum grant payout is £5,000).
• The grant intervention is 40% of invoiced costs.
• Only available to those participating in the DABS programme.
• Your business must be based in County Durham.
• Your business must be less than 12 months from registration.
